Melissa is one of my very oldest friends (see her maternity session photographed on Edmonton’s west end) and she and her man, Joe, have an adorable little girl, Scarlett (check out Scarlett’s newborn session too). Melissa and I spent a lot of time out of touch and as much as Facebook drives me up the wall sometimes (so addicting, ugh), I credit the social media network for bringing “Missy” back into my life!
Just a couple weeks ago on Thanksgiving weekend in Edmonton, I photographed Melissa & her family together for the first time.
I’m so thankful for friends like Melissa — the ones where no matter how much time or distance is between you, you can just pick up where you left off the next time you’re together. :)
