Chelsea, JB and I were happy to finally coordinate their engagement photos at the University of Alberta.
The day was chilly. It was overcast and there were no leaves left. Kinda makes you go all “wahhhh wahhhh” right?!! But no, not for us. No siree!
I was super happy to shoot at the U of A because:
- it provides awesome architectural and nature-y (that’s a word, I swear) backdrops for photos,
- it provides a warm shelter from the cutting winter winds in Edmonton, and
- there are secret, wind-protected outdoor spots in late fall that still have color when no where else in Alberta does!
See the little bit of “fall” we found still hanging around?! Not much but with two people in love, c’mon…it was perfect. :) I mean, we usually have snow at this point in the year so to do an engagement session in Edmonton in November without snow and the need for boots or parkas is a WIN in my books. Plus I got to hang out with these two and that was fun too! They even lamented about how their engagement session wasn’t nearly as awkward or painful as they’d anticipated, they actually had FUN with me, too! (Totally my goal, people, so I’ll say it’s another win! I absolutely came home and felt awesome after that!)
Chelsea & JB will be getting married next September and I can’t wait for their wedding! Enjoy this little peek into their engagement photo session…
I have only a few scattered dates available in 2016 for weddings before my schedule is too much for me to dedicate all I want to each couple. :) So if you’re engaged (or almost engaged?? haha) get in touch with me sooner rather than later so we can chat about your awesome wedding day!
