Edmonton Wedding Photography | A Wedding at St. Joseph’s Basilica

Last summer I had the privilege of second shooting with the lovely Sheri of Capture It! Photography for several weddings — and one of my favorites was the wedding of this couple. Their families and friends were super friendly and so supportive and so full of laughter and love at every turn. These kinds of weddings are my favorite! Everyone is having such a good time just being plain old happy for the couple on their important day. Lots of smiles to photograph? Makes for a perfect day for me!

The couple had a beautiful ceremony at one of Edmonton’s oldest churches, St. Joseph’s Basilica downtown. The stained glass, stone work and rich wood in that church are simply stunning. Their reception was held at one my favorite venues — the Italian Cultural Centre. (It just might have been the best food of the season!)
