I first met Alysha and Kyle last year at our consult (I offer a complimentary in person wedding consult with every inquiry because, dude, I get that you’re spending a good amount of your wedding budget on me and you should totally meet me and fall in love with me before we commit! Right?!) where she mentioned that she’d found me on Pinterest. Yeah, right?! PINTEREST. So, I guess I’ll keep pinning my work there right? You might remember seeing Alysha and Kyle’s engagement pictures at West Edmonton Mall on my blog a few months ago — we shot at West Edmonton Mall because they had their first date there when they were teenagers. Everyone at once, now: aawwwww!
Well this past July a whole bunch of their family and closest friends got together to celebrate their love — first a super cool ceremony in the Schocter Theatre at the Citadel in downtown Edmonton, then a fun reception at Snow Valley Lodge.
Alysha looked stunning in her plunging backless dress from Essense of Australia. Easily one of my favorite gowns from this year — so simple and just really flattered her figure perfectly! We utilized the beautiful Whitemud Park nearby the reception location for our formal photos and I love how they turned out. Here are the highlights from their intimate Edmonton wedding.
