Pretty + Purple Wedding | Brittany + Brien

Brittany was referred to me by one of my good “photografriends” over at Willow Lane Photography in Toronto early last summer. Brittany & Brien are two of the coolest, most laid back people you’ll ever meet. They have a good old fashioned love and an adorable daughter that brings it all together. Their families celebrated their love last August in Leduc and with multiple fits of laughter, some tears, purple flowers and a seriously tasty meal at the (newly renovated!) Best Western Denham Inn in Leduc — this goes down as one of the most fun weddings I’ve been lucky enough to photograph. Thanks to Krystina for being a great sidekick/second shooter!

A Country Wedding | Breanna + Alan

I photographed Breanna’s older sister’s surprise wedding in St. Albert in 2013 (which I finally got to blog last week!) and met she and Alan there. They are really cool, laid-back kind of people…interested in getting beautiful, real images of their wedding day to help them remember how awesome it was. My kind of people. :) Their wedding was held in Edson, AB on their family’s land. The place holds a lot of memories and meaning for them so it was a perfect setting for their “I do’s!” Thanks to Cassie for road tripping and second shooting for me.

Brianne + Eli | Hotel Macdonald Wedding Photographer

Brianne + Eli were referred to me by their neighbor (and my lovely second shooter for this wedding, thanks for your hard work!) Carlin last spring. You might remember their engagement photos at Edmonton’s river walk area and downtown from last summer. Their love story is so cute and really shows what a small world we live in. They met through mutual friends when they were little kids (cue: awwww!) but didn’t reconnect (or connect the dots, even) until years later. Their Valentine’s Day wedding ceremony was held at Edmonton’s All Saints Cathedral downtown.
